Future oriented R&D activities bringing micro technology
to the nanotechnology
We, who must respond to ceaseless development in scientific and technological fields, and the needs of a compartmentalized market, are constantly engaged in R&D activity looking beyond the horizon.
We are pursuing ultra-high precision processing control technology at the atomic and molecular levels in the fields of micro-machining, ion process, and MOVCD (Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition) technology.
We are developing various types of devices including silicon micro devices, ultra-precision multilayer devices, and compound semiconductor devices.
We are also engaged in developing multi function combined modules which integrate these technologies.
In the midst of this kind of technological development, three-axis micromachined accelerometer, ultra-high speed optical modulator modules, extremely low loss multilayer mirrors, ultra-narrow bandwidth optical filters, hybrid multiplexing/demultiplexing optical modules, MEMS optical switches and other developmental products are born.
Furthermore, as sizes in our main product line of connectors move from the order of millimeters to micrometers, development of new concept flexible narrow pitch connectors is making progress toward practical application, using our high level processing technologies.
We will continue to offer high quality products with high level technology for the market of the inevitably approaching age, as well as satisfying customer demands.
We believe that this is the mission that we must accomplish especially as a future oriented enterprise, as we enter a new era.
